Hi Talkers, I’m Tequa! I believe in cultivating a life where you can walk in your true purpose. I enjoy sharing stories about my life and my journey towards success because many of us seem to be going through the same things, #figuringshitout. Here is where I will continue to share my journey towards financial freedom and indulge in a little gossip about hot topics all while expressing myself and walking in my truth! My purpose is to inspire and guide others, especially those from similar backgrounds, by sharing my experiences, wisdom, and achievements. By doing so, I can empower individuals to believe in their own potential and create their unique paths in life, breaking barriers and stereotypes. Master of Special Education:
Applied Behavior Analysis

Specialized training in special education and the evidence-based practice of applied behavior analysis (ABA).

Bachelor of Science:
Criminal Justice

May 2019, Valdosta State University

Provided with the necessary courses to enter the criminal justice field. These courses provide an overview of criminal justice, criminal law and criminology.

  • Write Treatment plans & updates.
  • Overseeing & managing the therapeutic needs of clients being serviced

Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst

  • Develop Behavior Interntion Plans
  • Providing direct therapy services or supervising the delivery of services by other staff
  • Managing and analyzing client data and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions

Registered Behavior Technician

Aug 2020 – Feb 2021, Fusion Autism Center

  • Assist in delivering behavior analysis services
  • Collect data on behavior through direct observation
  • Assist BCBA as directed with behavior reduction assessments & skill acquisition plan
  • Assist in billing for specified healthcare providers
  • Provide care and treatment

Social Service Technician

  • Assist foster care case managers
  • Collaterals for cases and inputs into Shines
  • Provide supportive counseling to consumers and families and/or serve as a liaison for social services
  • Makes contacts to obtain and summarize all previous assessments of client’s skills and needs
  • Prepares correspondences, reports and other records as required
  • Provides or arranges for intervention services in situations in which a client may be in imminent danger
