I’m Back! Sharing Research, Updates, and New Support for Families.

I’m Back!

Honestly, I’m a little disappointed that it’s been a while since my last post—but please know, the grind did not stop! In the meantime, I’ve been busy conducting research, writing case studies, and (exciting news!) I’ve also been promoted in my professional role. On the home front, life as “Mommy” has been just as full—my little one is now officially a 2nd grader!

So yes, I’ve been balancing it all—but I’m back, and I’m here to share some exciting updates with you.

First, my website will be down shortly for a bit of revamping. The new and improved version will better reflect the direction of my services and give families more resources and support.

For those of you who may not know me, I’m a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and have been providing ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) services for over 4 years. My work has always centered around supporting individuals with autism and related needs through evidence-based interventions.

Now, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be expanding my services to include Family Guidance, also known as Parent Training. This service is especially close to my heart, because I know how challenging it can be for families—particularly those in rural areas without easy access to ABA clinics—to find the help and tools they need.

So, what is Family Guidance?
Family Guidance (Parent Training) is a structured way for caregivers to learn the strategies we use in ABA so that you feel confident supporting your child at home, in the community, and during daily routines. This doesn’t mean turning parents into therapists—it means giving you practical, hands-on strategies to reduce stress, increase communication, and encourage independence for your child. Together, we’ll work on areas like:

  • Understanding your child’s behavior and why it occurs
  • Teaching replacement behaviors and communication skills
  • Creating predictable routines that reduce problem behaviors
  • Using reinforcement effectively to encourage positive behaviors
  • Coping strategies for both your child and your family

I truly believe that when caregivers feel supported and empowered, children thrive. My goal is to make this type of support accessible to every family—no matter where you live.

As always, if you have questions in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m excited for this new chapter and can’t wait to share more with you soon.
